Presentation A: Breaking the Barrier—Internship Services and Faculty Partnerships
Have you ever hit a wall when trying to gain faculty support for internship services? You're not alone. Sally and Ilyana will explain how they tackled this problem. Vital to Chapman's success was the creation of an Internship Advisory Board made up of faculty and administrators. These stakeholders promote career services by helping build relationships with key faculty and securing class presentations. Learn 10 tips on how to build alliances with faculty and how Whittier created a 0-unit internship option.

Presentation B:  Use StrengthsQuest to Build Partnerships and Increase Visibility
Discover creative ways to deploy StrengthsQuest outside of career services with targeted campus groups. LMU uses it to build partnerships with student organizations and campus departments including: Student Housing Staff, Freshmen Living Learning Communities, Freshmen Athletes, and Christian Life Community. You'll walk away with handouts and activities that can be adapted to your campus.

Presentation C:  Expand Your Etiquette Dinner
Learn how Point Loma revamped their Etiquette Dinner to include networking with professionals from various fields. This year's professionals at Point Loma include an owner of an etiquette company, a CFO, a president of a securities firm, a software engineering manager, a lawyer, a sales director, an HR manager, and others.

Presentation D:  Career Fairs Going Virtual
Laura will describe the shortcomings of traditional career fairs with non-traditional-aged students, how to use technology to attract traditional-aged students, and how to recruit employers in a down economy. She will answer the questions, (1) Why a virtual fair? (2) How it works, and (3) Outcome/results of their recent virtual fair.
